Made in America is the tenth album by The Carpenters, and was the final album by the duo to be released during Karen Carpenter's lifetime. Released in June 1981, the album reached #52 in the US and #12 in the UK.

End of the Carpenters

To promote Made in America, Karen and Richard Carpenter appeared on several talk shows in 1981,[2] including Good Morning America on August 10, and The Merv Griffin Show on October 2, performing "(Want You) Back in My Life Again."
